Anzio and around

Between Nero’s sea and Rome

Anzio is a seaside town south of Rome, with large and small beaches all linked together, clear water and Mediterranean scrub. Hydrofoils and ferries leave the harbour for the Pontine islands, and in summer the centre comes alive with music and shows.
